Blockstars Mobile & Free to Play Launch Features List
In our last blog post, we offered a glimpse into some captivating concept art and shared links to our exciting Summer Beta Giveaways. Since then, we’ve successfully concluded these giveaways and are now approaching the eagerly anticipated free-to-play mobile beta test of Blockstars.
While our development team has been dedicatedly testing and fine-tuning throughout the summer, the upcoming beta test is a pivotal moment as it marks the first opportunity for Blockstars managers to immerse themselves in the mobile version of the game — an experience exclusively accessible to those who possess a Blockstar. As the mobile beta draws near on the horizon, we are thrilled to unveil our Feature List, a comprehensive collection of gameplay elements that await your exploration.
The Blockstars Summer Beta Test Features List
But what is a ‘Features List?’ It encompasses the array of gameplay features designed to be available for the beta test and eventual public launch of Blockstars. Rooted in the concept of a minimum viable product (MVP), this list ensures that our mobile app offers all players a cohesive and immersive management simulation game experience. While our ongoing game development journey holds numerous enhancements, the forthcoming beta test will incorporate the following features, tailored for your enjoyment and ready for release when the time is ripe.
- Everyone will have choices from a pool of pre-generated F2P Blockstars.
- Blockstars will be able to practice, busk, write songs, and record songs.
- You will be able to form Bands, and bands will be able to practice, record, and release songs.
- Songs will chart and earn ROL based on how well they do.
- Players will be known as ‘Managers’ in the game.
- Managers will have their own levels and access more game features as they level up.
- Managers will have missions and rewards for completing them.
- Managers will be able to release the songs their bands record to the charts.
- Managers can buy properties and upgrade them to earn more rewards.
- ROC and ROL will be available for purchase in the game store.
Reminder: This beta and our mobile app will only focus on the F2P experience
The mobile Blockstars app will not include ownership, NFTs, crypto, or the NGMI feature upon its release. These distinct functionalities will continue to be exclusive to our web app. It’s important to note that the web app will remain operational, distinct from the free-to-play mobile app, during both mobile beta testing and our official launch. We plan to complete NFT-related developments post-release, adhering to the guidelines and regulations outlined by the Apple and Google app stores.
