What is Merit Circle?
Merit Circle is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that develops opportunities to earn through gameplay for people who want to help build the metaverse. The Merit Circle platform hosts scholarship opportunities, educational content and provides tools for players who want to Play-to-Earn in the metaverse.
The Merit Circle DAO is designed to serve the needs of various groups with an interest in gaming in the metaverse. They are rapidly becoming the go-to authority on the Play-to-Earn industry by bridging the gap between game developers, gamers, and DAO contributors.
How is Blockstars working with Merit Circle?
The Blockstars team is a seasoned one, with many decades of combined experience building games in many different genres across many different platforms, and we are confident in our ability to build a really fun, deeply social and highly engaging music management simulation game on the Solana blockchain.
But we recognize and acknowledge that the Play-to-Earn space is still very nascent, and that there is much for us to learn about developing in-game economies that are truly governed by the players, and the tokenomics of our in-game $ROCK and $ROLL currencies (see our whitepaper for more details).
That is where Merit Circle comes in — they have more experience than just about anyone else operating in the Play-to-Earn space, which means that they can be an invaluable resource to the Blockstars team when designing, developing and implementing the features that are unique to the Play-to-Earn ecosystem.
